Some briefs ask you to start fresh. This one asked something harder: honor over a century of legacy without letting it gather dust.
Working with the National Women's Hall of Fame, our goal was to develop a brand identity for their Induction ceremony that felt worthy of the women it celebrates. Modern enough to resonate today, elevated enough to match the occasion, and rooted deeply enough to respect the history behind it.
From the start, the brief had a clear emotional target: this should feel like an event. Not just a ceremony, but a milestone that calls for getting dressed up, that lingers in memory long after the room clears. Every direction we explored kept that standard front and center.
The final direction came through a modernized Art Deco lens. Geometric precision, classic structure, and quiet grandeur.

At the center of the system is a custom W mark, its form built from converging lines that evoke spotlights: a deliberate nod to the act of illumination that defines the Hall of Fame itself. These women aren't just being recognized, they're being seen.
From there, the identity expanded to include an icon set, badges, patterns, and line illustrations that carry the same considered elegance throughout. Social assets, event invitations, and landing page updates are to follow, each one another surface to shine the light a little further.
